Sure enough a little Buneary soon hopped up to Oscar. Oscar observed the little rabbit, allowing it to examine him. Perhaps it thought he was dead? That thought was rather humorous, especially when he grabbed it by the scruff. The bunny yelped, but Oscar was gentle. He wouldn't hurt such a small whippersnapper, not when she could be useful.

He pulled out a safari ball and bonked her on the head.

Oscar was about ready to go, no other pokemon were showing up and the loadout didn't interest him enough to stick around. He rose to his feet, dusting himself off. He was about to take his first step when he heard the huffing of air. He looked toward the source, his expression hardening as he saw his new visitor. 

A tauros glared directly at him, scraping his hoof against the dirt as he sized Oscar up. Oscar slowly raised his hands, "Easy there bronco, I ain't worth the trouble." The tauros did not agree, as it charged almost immediately after. Oscar waited but a moment before diving out of the way. The tauros could not correct itself quickly enough, slamming directly into the tree.

The tauros was dazed, wobbling as it pushed away from the sturdy trunk. Oscar chuckled, throwing a ball at the bull before it came to its senses.
